Baby Lima Beans are named after their place of origin in Lima, Peru but are now found in a variety of dishes throughout the world. They are said to be popular in Japanese desserts and are a main ingredient in the American dish succotash. These plump-bodied, sweet in flavor, kidney-shaped beans are also popular in soups, salads and spreads.
